Exams are computer based and scores are available immediately upon completion except for College Composition. Please Note: College Composition (Essay required) and College Composition Modular (essay optional). Scores are automatically sent to CCAF( for military members) and you may request that a free copy be sent to the school of your choice.
All individuals testing on Tyndall must have access to the base as GCSC will not sponsor individuals onto Tyndall for the purpose of taking examinations.

FEES
The fee for each exam is $77 CLEP and $80 DANTES. Exams are free to all eligible military personnel and select civilian employees. Test fees must be paid by valid credit card to the College Level Examination Program.
Effective December 11, 2010
DANTES will not fund retesting on a previously funded CLEP exam. However, service members may personally fund a retest after waiting six months.
TEST CENTER ADMINISTRATION FEES
The GCSC-TAFB NTC charges a nonrefundable administration fee of $20, directly payable to the institution to those testers who do not qualify as “eligible DOD testers”. This is payable by credit card only—MC, VISA, American Express.
Certain exams have an optional essay. If your institution requires an optional essay, you must pay an additional $10 fee to your test center.
